In simple terms, Hives are fractional micro-agencies on Swarm. They enable a group of fractional builders to team up and work on tech projects together. Hives have the advantage of sharing their reputation, skills, and support with each other, increasing their chances of winning and executing projects.

In order to create a Hive, the Swarm team chooses a Swarm community member to be a Hive Leader. The Hive leader has the responsibility to invite, vet, and vouch for more members in their hive. Hive Leaders get first dibs on projects/clients that come into Swarm. They can decide to take it on or refer their other members to the project.

In the future, Hives will be able to enjoy shared rewards and benefits through Amber. As Hives work on projects as a team, they can earn group Amber and redeem benefits together.
